The Media Center/Language Lab is an area where students have access to a variety of media materials, including CD-ROMs for foreign language courses and videocassettes/DVDs for media courses. Also available for student use are 30 PCs networked to a printer. Print cards are available for purchase in the Media Center and the Library. The initial cost is $2.00. We have two MACs that have multimedia software installed, including Illustrator and Photoshop, which is available for student use. Students may access CD-ROM burners and most software needed for courses at the College. Inquire in the Media Center for assistance using these resources.

Access to Materials

All students need a library card to view or check out Media Materials.

To obtain a library card, bring a picture ID to the Library or Media Center and one will be issued to you, if you are a registered student. Library cards can be renewed each semester. Replacement cards cost $2.00

A library card is required to view or check out materials from the Media Center. You must bring in your library card on each visit to view or check out needed materials.

College of Marin is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. College of Marin serves approximately 9000 credit and noncredit students each spring and fall semester.
