Accreditation Status

College of Marin is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACCJC/WASC), 10 Commercial Blvd., Novato, CA 94949, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

Dr. Chialin Hsieh, Director of Planning, Research and Institutional Effectiveness, is the College's Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO).

Team Evaluation Report for Self Study 2010 (02/03-2011)
The visiting team's report was submitted to ACCJC in December 2010 (distributed 02-03-11 to Board of Trustees and to college 02-07-11 per reaffirmation of accreditation letter.). The commission acted on it January 2011 and REAFFIRMED ACCREDITATION January 31, 2011, requiring a Follow-up Report due October 15, 2011.  

Institutional Self-Study:
The College submitted its Institutional Self Study Report 2010 and electronic evidence to ACCJC/WASC on August 23, 2010.
