Election day is just around the corner! Have you started your ballot research? Join us to learn about the twelve propositions included on the 2020 ballot! Lynn Dooley from the League of Women Voters of Marin County will provide an overview of the measures. Students from Colleen Mihal’s Introduction to Communication class (COMM 100) will provide a more in-depth look at several key propositions. COM Librarian Sarah Frye will introduce the Library’s 2020 Voting Research Guide, which you can use to learn more about the propositions before filling in your ballot. There will be time for questions at the end of the session.

October 27, 2020, is the last Day to Request Vote-By-Mail Ballot for the November 3, 2020, General Election.
November 3, 2020, is Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Registering to Vote and Checking Your Ballot Status
Same-Day Voter Registration—If you are registering or re-registering less than 15 days before an election you will need to complete the Same-Day Voter Registration process and request your ballot in person at your county elections office or polling location.
