Learn Irish Songs and Dances for St. Patrick's Day

Want to dance an Irish jig and learn to sing lovely (and lively) Irish songs and ballads - including some phrases in Gaelic?

This audience-participatory introduction to traditional Irish music, songs, and dance will celebrate Irish history and culture - free from common pesky and awful 19th century stereotypes. We'll provide instruction in easy Irish folk group (ceili) dances, and teach an easy "Donegal Two Hand dance," an easy/beginner Irish "single jig" solo step. Group ­interactive songs include a song in honor of the great Irish queen Grace O'Malley and more. Live music will be provided.
