Large cast production of this very beautiful, very gripping opera tracing the life and art of the great Mexican painter, her husband, the muralist Diego Rivera, as well as appearances of Diego’s former wife and loves, the Henry Fords and Rockefellers, Leon Trotsky, Edward G. Robinson, and a trio of ghostly apparitions. (This is NOT the same work as performed by San Francisco Opera last month.)
