Movies for Mental Health Workshop

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and Psychological Services have partnered to offer Art With Impact’s “Movies for Mental Health” workshop on Wednesday, March 7, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Fusselman Hall, room 120. Art With Impact is a nonprofit that uses the power of film to reduce stigma around mental illness and raise awareness about mental health issues. Headquartered in San Francisco, they have run over 130 successful workshops at high schools and colleges throughout North America over the past four years. The workshop is two hours long and includes interactive discussion, viewing and responding to several short films, and a panel of speakers representing mental health resources at College of Marin and in Marin County. 
 
All students, faculty, and staff are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
