The College of Marin (COM) Umoja Community's Woman-2-Woman program; and EOPS, CARE, and CalWORKs progams are hosting a Porch Talk with Idara Phillips to support single parents. Let’s talk about being a single parent and related concerns, how to utilize our resources, and make sure we come out of this pandemic stronger and more focused than ever before.
As a single mother for 12 years, Idara knows the struggle is REAL! She understands the challenges of balancing school, work, and kids. She obtained both of her degrees after her children were born.
