Kentfield, CA — College of Marin (COM) is excited to host its annual spring fling, a vibrant celebration of community, fun, and the arrival of spring. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, this event is open to all students, staff, classified professionals, and administrators. Spring Fling offers an opportunity to connect with the COM community in a relaxed and inclusive environment, featuring food, arts and crafts, games, and music.
“This event is a reminder that despite the challenges we face—individually and collectively—we have the choice to come together and share moments of joy,” said Nequeshé Dyer, who coordinates Spring Fling and Fall Y’all event. “Seeing folks take pleasure in small things, connecting over food, music, crafts, and play, does wonders for my heart. I hope we can continue to improve the experience for everyone and increase the sense of belonging here at COM.”
International Student Advisor, Spring Fling and Fall Y’all Co-Coordinator Brier Welch noted, “Spring Fling has been one of those events that people talk about for the rest of the year. To me, that’s one of the indicators of success. People can feel the love! It’s Nequeshé’s personal touch and her connection with each participant that makes it magical.” Spring Fling serves as a space where new connections are made, and existing ones are celebrated.
Spring fling is more than just an event—it’s a space where the COM community can come together, reflect on what it means to belong, and celebrate the changing season with joy and connection.
