Featured Speaker: Idara Phillips-Ortiz, MSA
Idara Phillips-Ortiz, Owner of ZIP BIZ, a Business consulting and accounting firm. She holds a Master of Accounting from St. Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The National Hispanic University.
Idara has worked in accounting and operations for over 20 years. She has worked in accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting. And has worked in a broad range of industries including Government, manufacturing, news and media, advertising, retail, restaurants, service-based businesses, and non-profits. Although she has the credentials to work at a large accounting firm, Idara prefers to work with microbusinesses. After her work as an Auditor-Appraiser for Santa Clara County, Idara went into private practice and established her boutique accounting practice. Idara is a CPA candidate, a licensed tax preparer, and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Idara is highly active in her community she can often be found doing educational webinars and workshops. She also serves on multiple advisory boards. Idara recently started a nonprofit, which provides free and low-cost accounting and business consulting services to business owners in low-income and underserved communities.

Featured Speaker: Tara Collins, MD, MPH
Dr. Tara Collins is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Collins graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Howard University and received her M.D. and M.P.H. at Emory University. She completed an adult psychiatry residency, where she served as Chief Resident of Intensive Services, and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. She is board certified in adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Collins is a John A. Watson Faculty Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, and has received several honors and awards, including the Young Investigator Award from the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
Dr. Collins completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Ocean Beach Yoga School and a 50-hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Bernie Clark. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She completed the Ayurveda Wellness Counselor program at the Kerala Ayurveda Academy, where she is currently in the Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner Program.
Dr. Collins is active in the community, partnering with local nonprofit organizations to teach emotional competence workshops and dream interpretation, and serves on the board of two nonprofit community agencies. She is also the secretary of the Northern California Psychiatric Society. Dr. Collins teaches yoga classes at Ocean Beach Yoga and throughout the community.

Featured Speaker: Nikon Guffey, MSW, LCSW
Nikon Guffey is a program director with the City & County of San Francisco Human Services Agency and has over 20 years of professional experience related to community engagement, crisis management, and work-life balance. At HSA, Nikon has served as co-facilitator of a multi-disciplinary team, which is responsible for ensuring supportive networks for families and multi-agency collaboration.
Nikon also co-facilitates a multi-disciplinary team focused on working with Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) and the development of a strategic plan, which defined the need for increased services, support, and family home settings. Nikon also serves as the Mental Health & Wellness Coordinator for Students Rising Above, which serves first-generation college students mostly of BIPOC and Latinx linage. Nikon holds a BSW in Social Work from San Francisco State University. She also holds an MSW in Social Work from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nikon is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #86231) in the State of California.
