As COM has expanded its distance education course offerings, the number of COM credit students enrolled in distance education (DE) courses has increased as well. In 2017-2018, 1,115 credit students (15% of all credit students) were enrolled in at least one DE course; in 2018-2019, the number increased to 1,306 (18% of all credit students). About three-quarters of those taking DE courses were also enrolled in face-to-face courses.
