Dear College of Marin Community,
Please be advised that on Monday, July 14, 2025, a REACH Air Medical Services helicopter will be landing on Mackey Field at the Kentfield Campus. The helicopter is scheduled to arrive at approximately 11 a.m.
This special event is a collaboration designed to provide a dynamic, hands-on learning experience. The landing is a central part of our Registered Nursing Department's annual Healthcare Camp, offering future healthcare professionals a unique insight into emergency medical response.
In addition, this event will serve as a valuable joint training exercise for our community partners, the Kentfield Fire Department and the Ross Valley Fire Department, strengthening our region's emergency preparedness and collaboration.
What to Expect:
Location: Mackey Field, Kentfield Campus
Time: Helicopter landing around 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14.
Safety: The area around Mackey Field will be secured by Campus Public Safety and local fire personnel to ensure the safety of all participants and observers. Please follow the directions of on-site personnel and respect all safety perimeters.
Noise: We anticipate a brief period of increased noise on and around campus during the landing and subsequent takeoff.
