On February 4, 2026, College of Marin (COM) officially opened the Dr. David Wain Coon Center for Student Success (CSS) with a ribbon cutting ceremony, self-guided building tours, engaging opportunities to connect on each floor, music, and free food.
The CSS is an 86,344 sq. ft. facility designed as a holistic hub for student-centered services. The center integrates essential academic resources, student support services, wellness programs, Pink Owl Coffee, and spaces for learning and community—all in one welcoming location.
As the final major building project funded by Measure B, a $265 million bond passed in 2016 with overwhelming support of Marin County voters, the CSS represents a transformative investment in student achievement and community engagement.
