4th Annual Equity in Mental Health Symposium Returns to College of Marin

NOVATO, CA – College of Marin (COM) and Marin County Office of Equity will host the 4th Annual Equity in Mental Health Symposium on April 29–30, 2026, at COM’s Indian Valley Campus in Novato. This two‑day gathering brings together community members and professionals committed to advancing equity in mental health.

The symposium continues its focus on ancestral wisdom, the healing power of nature, culturally responsive practices, and community‑centered approaches to wellness. Attendees will participate in roundtable conversations, hands‑on activities, and resource sharing designed to explore new pathways for supporting mental health across diverse communities.

Open to the public, the event welcomes educators, mental health practitioners, youth and social service providers, artists, integrative medicine practitioners, government partners, restorative justice advocates, and others dedicated to equity and community wellbeing.

The symposium is sponsored by COM, Marin County Office of Equity, COM Psychological Services, COM Umoja Equity Institute, and Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services.
