College Success Saturday

On May 2, 2026, starting at 9:15 a.m., College of Marin (COM) will host its annual College Success Saturday for graduating high school seniors.

This annual priority registration event provides incoming students with an opportunity to be at the front of the line to register for classes for the upcoming summer and fall terms. The event is FREE to attend, but event registration is required to ensure students can successfully register for classes during the event.

College Success Saturday is the defining moment as graduating seniors begin their transition to college students. Students will learn about important programs and student services during an interactive orientation, then register for classes! Parents and family members are invited to attend a separate orientation offered in English and Spanish, with valuable college information and strategies to support their students. Separate presentations covering Transfer options and Financial Aid will follow, with our partners from 10,000 Degrees detailing their support offered to COM students.

The event will kick off in our new Center for Student building, showcasing a state-of-the-art facility that brings together essential academic resources, student support services, wellness programs, a café, and spaces for learning and community—all in one welcoming location.

Prior to College Success Saturday, students should meet with a COM Counselor to develop their Student Educational Plan, a “roadmap” for their college coursework. Make an appointment with a counselor in the MyCOM student portal or by calling (628) 234-7432.
